Tax, accounting, business advisory and retirement planning from Mark Gianno and Tom Freda — client-first, with a returned phone call.
We’ve been waiting for you. Mark Gianno and Tom Freda opened their Cape Cod office in Hyannis in 1987 to provide, in Tom’s words, “Boston level accounting and tax services to Cape Cod.” Before joining forces, Mark and Tom worked in Boston for two of the “Big Eight” international CPA firms, where they learned the importance of client-first professional services.
Client-first means tailoring our services to your needs. It requires listening to you as you define your goals and concerns — business success, helping children and grandchildren prosper, community development or charitable intent, health issues, or ensuring your financial comfort as you face an uncertain future.
For retirees. Cape Cod has perhaps the largest concentration of retirees north of the Mason-Dixon line, so our personal tax and financial planning focuses on retirees and the soon-to-be-retired: retirement income plans, allocating retirement investments, and planning for long-term care — always with an eye toward minimizing income and estate taxes.
For business owners. Our Hyannis office serves business clients from Falmouth to Provincetown and every town in between. We work with you “cradle-to-grave”: choice of entity, industry best practices, financial statements and analysis, tax compliance at every level, financing to expand, and selling or transferring your business to the next generation.
Always current. Each of us must take 80 hours of continuing education every two years — Mark’s CFP designation requires 30 more — mostly at state and national conferences with leading experts in tax and financial planning.
Call our Hyannis office and set up a time to come by for a cup of coffee and discuss whether the combination of your needs and our services gives us a basis for working together. Thank you!

Results — we work with you personally to find the best solutions, then apply seasoned expertise.
Relationships — large enough for a full range of services at a fair price, small enough to give you individual attention.
Relief — when a need arises, we’re ready to handle everything so you can focus on what matters most.
“It’s not what you earn, it’s what you keep.”
